BEDFORD SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 2
Monroe boys tied 2-2 with arch rival Bedford in an entertaining match on senior night . Bedford scored first but the Monroe response was swift.After applying considerable pressure for an extensive period and having two goals disallowed, Monroe finally found the net when Logan Amato seized on a ball from Norberto Flores and cleverly avoided the onrushing goalkeeper and side-footed home. In the second half Monroe took the lead when captain Logan Tucker headed home a long throw in from Andrey Houck. Bedford again responded with a goal and the game ended 2-2. Good performances from all the seniors and many thanks to all the parents who organized such a special occasion for the 15 senior boys. Go Trojans!
