CARLSON HIGH SCHOOL: 54
The Varsity team got off to an extremely slow start on offense Thursday night. At the end of the half we were down 27-12. The poor shooting continued through the 3rd quarter and the Trojans found themselves down 40-19 starting the 4th. Finally the offense found some life in the 4th getting a spark from Senior Gavin Walker. Walker hit back to back 3s and that gave everyone a lift. Monroe outscored Carlson 26-14 in the fourth. But the hole that was dug in the first 3 quarters was too big to overcome. Xander Middleton led the scoring for the Trojans with 13 points and also grabbed 7 rebounds. Gavin Walker added 12 points and 3 assists and Gabe Johnson added 10 points.
