Conversation with the transportation department did not go well. 

We do NOT have a shuttle bus to Munson for practice (probably for all of this week unfortunately).

So, we will continue to practice at MMS.

Monday, 9/9 - practice (workout) 3:00 - 5:00

Tuesday 9/10 - practice (easy run) 3:00 - 5:00

Wednesday 9/11 - first Jamboree vs. the other middle school teams in our league (SEC).  You will be excused from class at 1:00, and the bus will leave from "the rock" (6th street side) @ 1:15.  The meet is at Ella Sharp Park in Jackson.  Girl's race begins at 4:15 and boys at 4:45.  You will need to wear your uniform - also bring a water bottle, sweats, bag for your stuff, spikes if you have them.  Tentatively, we will be back to MMS at 7:30 - 8:00.

Thursday 9/12 - practice (easy run) 3:00 - 5:00

Friday 9/13 - practice (easy run) 3:00 - 5:00

Saturday 9/14 - Huron Invitational @ Willow Metropark (Chestnut Grove site) in New Boston.  No bus to this meet: everyone should be there by 10:45 AM.  Look for the Monroe Tent(s) near the finish line of the course.  Girls run @ noon, boys run @ 12:30.

Thursday 9/5

No transfer bus to Munson yet.  Practice will start meeting in front of the main entrance to MMS, where we will walk down to Navarre Field and practice there.  Parents should pick up athletes from Navarre Field @ 5:00.

Friday 9/6

No transfer bus to Munson yet.  Practice will start and end in front of the main entrance to MMS.  Parents should pick up athletes @ MMS @ 5:00.

Monday 9/9

Should have a bus to take students to Munson Park after school @ 3:00.  Practice will end @ 5:00.  More info as soon as known about what bus number it will be, and where students should board the bus.

Wednesday, 8/26:  practice will end early (4:15-4:20).  The MMS Open House is tonight, so we are ending early so that students can attend and not come straight from practice.

Thursday, 8/27:  Practice 3-5.  We will be participating with the high school teams in a Red vs. White IntraSquad Meet.  Wear the appropriate color, and bring spikes if you have them.

Friday, 8/28: Practice 3-5.  We will meet at the back of Munson Park, by the trails.  It will probably be muddy, so wear appropriate attire for that day.

Saturday 8/29 - Monday 9/2: no practice. Enjoy your Labor Day weekend!  If possible, make 1 day a running day (preferably 30 minutes of continuous running), 1 day a cross-training day (biking, swimming, etc) and the other day a rest day.

Tuesday 9/3:  Practice 3-5 @ Munson Park.

Wednesday 9/4:  No practice.  (run on your own)  First Day of school, which is a 1/2 day. 

Thursday 9/5 - Friday 9/6:  Probably we will have to practice at the Middle School (more info when known).  Unless you hear otherwise, plan on having practice 3-5, and meeting and ending @ the main entrance to the school.  Eventually there will be a transfer bus to take students to Munson after school, but that will not be set up during the first week of school.
