RENTON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 8
On a very cold Tuesday afternoon in Monroe the Trojans loss the first game against Renton Junior High 6-2 and won the second game 10-8.
Game 1 Monroe loss 6-2. Monroe only had two hits for the cold afternoon game. Aly Lewis and Zaylee Richard had the only hits. Pitching was strong on both sides. Olivia McMahon gave up 3H, 1ER, 3BB with 12K's with catcher A. Lewis. Team had a few too many throwing errors.
Game 2 Allisun Fulner pitched the Trojans to a 10-8 win with 2ER and 2K's. The cold affected the Trojan defense but they battled for the win. Zaylee Richard with a triple and RBI, Ava Chapman and Soffia Elmer had doubles with RBI's. Riley Brock was hit by pitch twice in the cold weather and scored runs both times.
