SALINE MIDDLE SCHOOL: 24
The Monroe Boys 8 Red Football team lost a heartbreaker 24-22 to an undefeated Saline last night at Navarre Field. Logan Loveland led the offense by rushing for over 150 yards and three touchdowns. Lukas Johnson led all receivers by catching a 40 yard pass from Angel Rincon. Two point conversions were made by Ronnie Roberts (Rush) and Brady Palmer (Pass from Buddy Snodgrass). The defense was led by Loveland (forced fumble & recover), Rincon (interception), & Breylon Richards. The Trojans are now 1-4 and finish their season next Tuesday on the road against Beach Middle School (Chelsea).
