In the opening game of the 2022 season, Monroe lost to Lincoln 11-0. The Trojans trailed only 2-0 until the 4th inning, when Lincoln scored 6 runs to put the game away. Macy Collett, Alana Aulph, and Maci Willey had 2 hits apiece for Monroe.
