JACKSON HIGH SCHOOL: 20
The Freshman football team improved to 2-0 after beating a good Jackson team at Bunkelman field Thursday. The offense was led by Logan Loveland who had 2 touchdown, one a 20 yards rushing score and the other a 55 yard TD reception. Logan also ran in two 2 point conversion try's. Dinato Gandara also ran hard and had a 15 yard TD run. Brady Palmer ran in the 2 point try to finish the Trojans scoring.
Defensively the Trojans were led by Kevin Smith Jr., Angel Rincon, Tyshaun Moore, and Deshaun Richardson. The Trojans faced a furious comeback by the Jackson Freshman and the defense stood strong to hang onto their second win of the year. Tickets for parents must be reserved before Noon every game day. The Freshman will travel to Saline to take on the Hornets next Thursday.
