What a thriller in the Beason last night!  The rivalry heated up once more as the JV Trojans took down the visitors from the south.  Both schools played at a high level as this turned into a great SEC Red matchup.  With both schools seeing a 3-4 posession leads dwindle away the game eventually ended up in overtime where the gutty Trojans prevailed.  The game featured some great offense at times but always came back to the defensive side.  With a one point lead in the closing seconds Darrell Coleman had a half court pocket picket steal which lead to his game clinching layup!   Monroe had a great attack with 9 players scoring, clutch ball handling by many, and a great rebounding effort.  We were lead in scoring by Corbin Geiman and Logan Frank with 14 points each.  Darrell added 11.   We are off for a much needed break as we get back at it next Friday at home against the River Rats of Huron looking to avenge a earlier loss at their place.  Go Trojans!!
