ADRIAN HIGH SCHOOL: 47
The JV boys took the court on Friday January 10th to face the Adrian Maples. Monroe got off to a red hot start jumping on the Maples 15-5 after one quarter. The boys added another 15 points in the 2nd quarter to take a half time lead of 30-16. The good shooting Adrian team would not go down easily though outscoring the Trojans by 15 in the 3rd period. In the final stanza the feisty Trojan defense held strong surrendering only 8 points while scoring 12 to take a 50-47 cross conference win! The team was led in scoring by Corbin Geiman with 8 points and 7 rebounds. Darrell Coleman added 6 points, 8 assists and 2 steals. The well balanced Trojans also had 10 others in the scoring column.
