HURON HIGH SCHOOL: 3
Monroe Boy's varsity soccer lost 3-1 to AA Huron on Saturday morning. Monroe dominated the game in the first half but failed to capitalize on numerous chances.The game was decided after a flurry of goals in a 10 minute period shortly after the restart.Huron broke the deadlock before Jvon Miller equalized from the penalty spot after a foul on Colin Charnock. Huron struck back with two quick goals and Monroe could not find the net despite having plenty of ball possession. Strong performance for a first outing on the artificial turf but a disappointing outcome. Notable contributions by Austin Dunn and Isaac Langerman in midfield.
