Monroe swept a doubleheader with Tecumseh on Wednesday, winning both games in walk-off fashion in the bottom of the 7th, both by 6-5 scores.

In game 1, the Trojans trailed 5-0 in the bottom of the 7th on Middle School Appreciation Day before finally giving the crowd something to cheer about, scoring 6 runs to win the game.  Kara Danish had an RBI single, Ellie Sieler singled in 2 runs, and Kallie Trouten singled to tie the game at 5.  After Allie Hall was intentionally walked, Alana Aulph hit one over the left fielder's head to finish the comeback.  Aulph had two hits in the game, and Danish ended up 3-3.

Once again, Monroe came back in the bottom of the 7th to win game 2 by a 6-5 score.  This time, only 2 runs were needed, and those came on a soft liner by Kallie Trouten that was misplayed by a Tecumseh infielder.  

The win in game 1 gave Monroe a chance to split the SEC red title with a sweep over Bedford Thursday and a little help.  Monroe's record is 19-15, and 12-5 in SEC play.
