Monroe was swept by Saline in a doubleheader on Monday, losing by scores of 3-0 and 8-6. Allie Hall pitched well in the game 1 loss, and the Monroe offense managed just 3 hits.
In game 2, Monroe fell behind 8-1 in the second inning, before rallying to make the final score 8-6. The Trojans scored 3 runs in the 7th inning, and had the tying run at the plate when the final out was made. Kallie Trouten went 3-4 in the game.
