Monroe boys cross country placed 5th at the SEC Red Finals this morning. Luke Butler placed 6th earning him first-team all-conference honors. Also running well for the Trojans were Elijah Ball, Gabe Sweat, Alex Apetroaei, Nick Parran, Kyle Hoffner, and Maxx Adams. Butler, Ball, Sweat, Apetroaei, Parran, Adams, David Friend, Grey Johnson, Chris Stein, and Daniel Kittle all ran personal best times. The Trojans run next Saturday at the Pre-Regional meet at Indian Creek Park in Bedford.
