JACKSON PARKSIDE: 21
The Monroe 8 Red football team dropped their season opener yesterday 21-8 to Jackson Parkside. It was a very hard fought game with the Trojans maintaining an 8-7 lead with two minutes reamining in the game. Buddy Snodgrass had the only touchdown on the day with a 40 yard fumble recovery. Logan Loveland ran in the 2 point conversion. Defensive standouts were Logan Loveland, Angel Rincon, & Breylon Richards. The Trojans home opener is next Tuesday at Navarre Field vs. Ypsi Lincoln. Kickoff is schedule for 5:30pm
