Monroe won the first game against Grosse Ille 10 to 0 on a no hitter pitched by Owen Yount who struck out 9. Monroe had 11 hits in the first game led by Owen Yount going 2 for 2 along with Braydon Abood, and Roman Beck.
In the second Game Monroe also won 10 to 0 behind the pitching of Roman Beck who allowed 1 hit and struck out 11. Monroe had 16 hits in the second contest led by Braydon Abood 3 for 4 and Drake Leach who was 3 for 3.
Monroe is now 8 wins 3 losses and 1 tie for the season and finish there season next Tuesday at Jefferson.
