BEDFORD JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 44
Monroe's 8th grade team lost their season opener last night to Bedford 44-14. Grifin Rippee and Desmin Willimas scored touchdowns, while Keoni Snavely and Brenden Bacon played well on offense. Williams also scored a 2pt conversion pass from Rippee. Defensive standouts were Tanner Collett and Malahki Threatt. The Trojans next game is Tuesday @ Navarre Field vs. Adrian.
