HURON HIGH SCHOOL: 1
The Monroe JV Baseball team won the nightcap by a score of 7-1 vs. New Boston Huron. Tristan Bonk shut down the Huron team who was only ab le to muster one unearned run in the contest. Tristan struck out 4 and pitched all 5 innings of the shortened contest due to cold and darkness. Leading the hitting for the Trojans were Noah Parrott,Ty Ickes,Blake Assenmacher, and Caleb Parrott all had hits for the Trojans. The Trojans took advantage of some walks to extend the lead. The Monroe JV baseball Team improved to 4-0 on the season and will travel to Flat Rock today for one game @4:30 pm.
