Monroe dropped a hard fought game 6-7 in 9 innings. Starting pitcher Evan Earnest struck out 6 batters but the 4 Trojan errors gave the River Rats life. Matthew Hedges had 2 hits, 3 stolen bases, and scored 2 runs. Spencer Knapp hit for a double, completed the SAC bunt, and executed the squeeze. Evin Cooper played well at shortstop and also had 2 hits.
