FLAT ROCK COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL: 4
Monroe used a steady offensive attack and pivotal defensive play to defeat Flat Rock 10-4. Jared Rochowiak put the charge in the offense banging out 3 hits along with a 2-Run homer. Christopher Bitz added 3 hits of his own and Brock French had 2 hits, 2 RBI, and scored 2 runs. Matthew Hedges has made a great transition to the outfield. He gunned down a runner at the plate from right field in what was a 2 run ball game at the time. Austin Sajdak played stellar defense at 3rd and Dominic Puccetti notched the win while striking out 6.
