Evan Earnest shines for Monroe as the Varsity baseball team defeated Dundee 9-3. The junior hurler stuck out 14 batters in 5.2 innings worked, while only surrendering 2 hits and 1 walk. There was plenty of offense to go around as the Trojans banged out 14 hits. The attack was evenly spread with Brock French and Chris Winkelman collecting 3 hits a piece. Evin Cooper, Jared Rochowiak, Matthew Hedges, and Logan Complo each had 2 hits in the game. Hedges and Nathan Duvall both added 3 RBI. Monroe pitchers have struck out 40 batters as the team is off to a 3-0 start.
