BEDFORD SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 40
Monroe avenged its two earlier losses to Saline this year by beating the Hornets in the district semi final by a score of 48 to 40. The Trojans had a balanced scoring attack. KC Thornton had 11 Mckenzie Peters and Ellie Sieler both had 9 points and Amari Aaron had 8 points and 15 rebounds. Matti Bodi also had 6 points and Jessica Laroy had 5. Monroe now plays Belleville on Friday night for the District championship at Bedford.
